Duke of Edinburgh's Award

Registering for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award in Clyde Region is easy. The person responsible for the group of participants (e.g. Leader or DESC) simply completes a registration form available from www.clydescouts.org.uk or from Ron Alexander. You then send it to Ron with a cheque for the amount listed below for each entrant. He will then issue books and entrance packs and away you go.

All cheques should be made payable to Clyde Regional Scout Council.

If you do not want to wait for a form, the following, information is required:- full name, address, post code, date of birth, male/female, ethnicity (e.g. White British, Asian, Black-British, etc) Unit or Group & District and level of award (Bronze, Silver or Gold).

If the young person is already on the Award and a record book for the next level is bring requested, please send the previous record book so that I can get the reference number from it.

1. The relevant information parts are in each Record Book. An I.D. Card is issued with the first record book with a number solely for the one person and used on all three levels.
2. Bronze, Silver & Gold record books are all individual books and Bronze and Silver books cost £12.50 each and Gold books cost £18.00 each.
3. The above items can be purchased from Ron Alexander (Flat 38, 37 Herriet Street, Glasgow, G41 2JY).
4. The Handbook is the Fifth Edition which costs £4.95 and it is available from The Glasgow Scout Shop.
