New Explorer Scouts Invested - 20-06-2008The 77th Glasgow Explorer Scouts were delighted to invest six new Explorer Scouts at their meeting on Monday night. The young people come from all across Glasgow to join this particular Explorer Scout Unit and Explorer Scout Leader Michael Shanks said “Scouting provides opportunities that these boys that they cannot get anywhere else so our activities are essential.”
The 77th Glasgow Explorer Scouts provide Scouting to young people with physical disabilities across Glasgow and this year, the Scout Group is celebrating its 75th anniversary with an extra special summer camp at Gilwell Park, near London.
